07.04.06 - Interview, Discography & Downloads - We've added another old interview with Deep Forest concerning Comparsa. Also check out an interview about the production of Pacifique (thanks to Florian Seka for translating both), and all our other interviews on the press center page.
There is now a new simplified discography page with all of Deep Forest's releases. Finally thanks to Fábio Augusto for sending us his remix of Forest Power, now available on our downloads page. 06.05.05 - Live Performances - Just added a dozen and a half photos of a performance Deep Forest made in 95' with Youssou N'Dour. The photos come from the Japanese DVD of Youssou's concert, and is the first live performance by Deep Forest we know of. We would like to sincerely thank Daisuke for helping us obtain these photos. In addition to the new Deep Forest concert photos we also have six new photos of Wes performing Keli Maye in a television appearance. It's not clear when this performance occurred, but is most likely sometime soon after the 2000 release of Sinami. We thank Alejo for once again providing us, and you, with more photos. You can check all these photos out in the Concerts section. 05.10.05 - Audio Samples & Interview - We have completed the monumental task of resampling every Deep Forest and Deep Forest related song on this site. Because we were unhappy with the short poor quality music clips, each sample is now 60seconds long at 56kbps VBR and in stereo. I also wanted to make note of a interview from 1999 that we added not too long ago. In the interview Deep Forest discuss Made In Japan. For those of your who are registered members on the forum, you may have also noticed that email notification is now working again. 01.25.05 - Screenshots, Photos & Interview - We would like to thank Blackmago for providing us with screenshot for several of the Deep Forest videos we were missing. There are now shots from all the videos available in the media section. Also new from Blackmago are a set of photos of Deep Forest live in Kyoto (98' Tour). Lastly, we added a newly translated interview with photos, from 2001, in which Deep Forest talked to Taro Hakase on J-Wave. 03.25.04 - Index & Discography - We just spent a couple hours deleting and optimizing the html code for this index page. It's easy to end up with messy code when using a web-design editor like Dreamweaver, and this page was way out of hand in terms of extraneous tags. Hopefully this will help our Google ranking for the keywords 'deep forest' (we are currently #174 ouch!) There have also been a number of Discography updates (get a quick over-view of anything new from the Discotimeline), including entries for the regular and Taiwanese editions of Essence of the Forest, Mouquet's newest pop album Je Me Souviendrai featuring Jean Sebastien Lavoie, and a live concert DVD of Youssou N'Dour featuring two songs performed with Deep Forest (thanks to Bohemian for informing us of the DVD). 03.25.04 - 3rd Birthday - It's Deep in the Jungle's 3-year-old birthday, currently having served 60,800 visitors, 22,400 visitors this year alone. In the last year we have moved the site to www.deepforestmusic.com, made numerous updates, and added Earth-Rhythms (massive catalog of enigmatic music). Thank you to all our visitors and supporters, we hope to continue growing, and to see more new faces : ) 01.25.04 - General Site Updates - We have finished moving this site to it's new server. Our official address is, and will remain to be, www.deepforestmusic.com, please update your links. Additionally, I know we haven't been updating the Website News section, but even so changes on the site are always happening. The music videos, and now music samples are unavailable. We hope to have the music samples back soon, the videos are another story. 06.17.03 - Disography / Press Center / Fan Art / Lyrics - Added a bunch of new samples to Mouquet's section, he's been very active the last year. There have also been a couple new editions to the Press center, a review of Music Detected and an older article from 94'. There were also a bunch of fan art pieces added to the gallery a while ago which were never mentioned. New lyrics for Sweet Lullaby, with English translations, have been added as well. 04.06.03 - Gallery Update - I finally got around to redoing the Live section of the Deep Forest gallery, I have also added 12 photos from the Image concerts (2001), as well as three photos from the Dear Friend Tour (2003), thanks to Mr Guest for those. Additionally information has been added to the Discography (Misc Section) about the Live Image + DVD that contains video of Deep Forest live. Other recent changes are the new menu at the top of this page, which should hopefully make finding things easier. Deep In the Jungle has also recently had it's 2 year-old birthday, currently with 38,400 visitors since our open. That is 25,600 visitors this year and doubled our traffic from our first year (12,800). Once again we want to thank everyone for visiting and your support, because after all there's no point in have a site unless people visit. 01.28.03 - New Section - If you haven't already noticed, there is a new section to the site called Forest Rhythms where we provide inforation on other artists of the world beat genre. So far we have information on Afro Celt Sound System, Beautiful World, Conjure One, Deep Forest, E-gypt, Equa, Era, Mystic Diversions, Mythos, Nomad, and Oceania. We are also adding 30 second samples for all the albums released by the artists that we cover. Additionally we are changing our web address to www.deepforestmusic.com, so please update your bookmarks and links to our site. You can also go to www.forestrhythms.com to be taken directly to the new section 12.03.02 - Discography / Misc - Haven't updated this section in a while. There have been additions to all the sections of the discography, too many to list. We are also now expanding our site to include information on other enigmatic groups, hence the new column to the right hear with reviews. If you are an enigmatic artist and would like us to review your music, send us an e-mail. We have also finally gotten Eric Mouquet's biography posted, hoping to get one posted for Lacksman and Wes too. 09.27.02 - Discography / Video - We have added the music video to Memories of Pangea to the video section, who knew there even was a music video for the song : ) There have been a bunch of updates to the site, I just can't remember specifics at the moment. There is information on a Will You Be Ready promo in the discography as well as some new compilations. 08.24.02 - Discography / Video - Finished remodeling of the discography. There have also been several new additions to the compilations, bootlegs, Boheme, and Music Detected sections and probably some of the other sections too We just obtained the Endangered Species music video and now have it available in the multimedia section in Divx and Real Video formats as usual. We thought the conversion from the VHS tape went as well as it ever has from VHS so the quality ain't bad. 07.18.02 - Discography / FAQ / Press Center / Fan Art - Remodeling of the discography is almost finished, only section left is the bootleg section, which has had a few 'Music Detected' bootleg additions. There have also been many other additions to the discography, too many to mention here. The FAQ has had a few updates, mostly information and photos of people involved in 'Music Detected'. A review of 'Music Detected' by Mid-Day Multimedia was added to our Press Center. Finally, there are several new fan pictures in the Multimedia-Art section for everyone to enjoy. 06.22.02 - Discography / Music Video- We have posted the Tarsem version of Sweet Lullaby in the Multimedia section. This is the same video that was nominated for MTV music video of the year. The discography section has also been remodeled and is close to being done. A bunch of new samples have been added including samples to Music Detected, and Dan Lacksman's section. 05.08.02 - Discography / Lyrics / New Section- We've created a new section on the site, called the Buyer's Guide. You can use this to find where to purchase CD's, singles, 12" items, promos, etc. By using the links on this section, you will help support this site. We've
also added the English lyrics to all the 'Music Detected' songs.
Also, audio samples to all Music Detected songs can be found in
the Deep Forest discography. 05.02.02 - Discography Update- The
first single from 'Music Detected,' called 'Endangered Species'
has been added to the discography. Audio samples have been
created for the 2 remixes on the single. There also have been additions to the compilations page in the Deep Forest and Wes discographies, as well as more audio samples. 04.19.02 - Discography / Fan Art Updates - We have added a new compilation to the Dan Lacksman section of the discography. It contains an exclusive remix of "Water and Fire". We've also added two new entries in the Fan Art gallery. 04.09.02 - Downloads / Index Update - Two more wallpapers have been added to the Downloads page. Also, on this main page, we've added a section called 'Developing News'. Here we will put small bits of information that don't merit seperate news stories, but are important. 03.28.02 - Downloads Update - Our first Deep Forest screensaver has been added to the downloads page. Thanks to Anoop for creating the Flash animation. We have also updated the compilation appearances section in the Deep Forest discography.

Updates - We've added two more 'La Jument de Mishao' singles to the Eric Mouquet discography section, as well as some new compilations for Deep Forest. Also, a new fan art submission has been added, as well as some new wallpapers in 'Downloads.' 02.28.02 - News & Downloads - News concerning the latest album of Deep Forest has been posted. We've also added several news fonts to the 'Downloads' section. 02.21.02 - Video and Lyrics Update - We have added the Pacifique music video. You can find it in the Multimedia section. We've also updated the lyrics to 'Twosome' and have added an interperatation of the lyrics. 02.18.02 - Downloads Update - One more addition to the downloads page... We've added the sheet music to Sweet Lullaby. You can download all 12 pages in a ZIP file. 02.17.02 - Discography / Downloads Updates - We've added several new scans in the Wes, Sanchez, and Deep Forest sections of the discography. The 'Downloads' page has also grown quite considerably. We have added many new wallpapers, mostly taken from the 'Fan Art' page. We also have an exclusive remix of 'Lament', which can only be found on this site. Definitely worth checking out. Finally, we've added the 'Comparsa' logo to the 'graphics' section. 02.15.02 - Interview and Scans added - There is a newly translated interview up in the Press Center section called 'Deep Forest in Chat' which is 35 questions asked by various fans on the internet. It's a great interview with a lot of new information. There have also been some additions and updates to the discography includeing some new compilation CD scans. 02.13.02 - Downloads page- We're happy to announce that a new page, called 'Downloads' has been added. It will contain wallpapers, graphics, music, and other things that will interest Deep Forest fans. Most of the scans that were added are in the compilation section of the Deep Forest discography and there are also several new entried on Wes's section of the discogrpahy. 01.23.02 - Discography Update & Spanish Translations - A new Marta's Song promo single has been added to the discography. It contains a track called 'The Dallas "Fresh" Club Edit'. This appears to be an edited version of 'The Rainforest Crunch Mix'. Just so you know, we didn't get the links to the audio samples mixed up. We're also in the process of getting caught up with the Spanish news translations. 01.04.02 - Updated Discography - Added two new albums
to the Deep Forest compilations page in the discography section. A Promotional
sampler from Saint George Records, and Northern exposure which contains

in the process of getting up the visual galleries page. So for we have
added a memorobilia, live, and artist page. You can take a look at them

- Discography Update - The Misc page has been split
into compilation, misc, and remix pages. A new Deep Forest discography
timeline has been created. Hopefully this will clear up how all the
Deep Forest and related projects are related and when they were released. 11.17.01
- New Sections Added - We have added
a number of things. First there is a new section in the video archives
where we will put promotion videos, interview clips, and recordings
of live performances. At this time we have a 48minute long radio interview
from 1995, a video interview from 1998, and a short video of Deep Forest
at the YAMAHA studios in Japan. There have also been a number of additions
and changes to the discography section besides the new timeline. 11.08.01
- New Music Video - Marayeva
is the new addition to the video achive. This song comes from the album
Aral, produced and arranged by Eric Mouquet, and featuring Catherine
Lara. In my humble opinion I think this is the best song on the album
and has a very colorful and exotic video to accompany it, so enjoy. 11.03.01

been a while since our last Official update. We recently installed
Windows XP which has managed to fix our encoding problems. We can
now continue to bring you the rest of the mucic videos. We continue
by posting an the alternavtive version of the self-titled Deep Forest

- Video Archives Back with New Video - Our
music videos server is back online. Sorry about the delay, the old
computer's motherboard died and the replacement just cam in a couple
days ago. The videos are now being served off an athlon 1.4Ghz computer,

- Sweet Lullaby Video - Realvideo
and Divx versions of the Sweet Lullaby video have been added to
the video archive, which can be found under multimedia. Still working on the
gallery section and finding a place to host the music videos. 05.20.01 - Italian News Articles Available - We're in the process of translating all the news articles into Italian. They will be uploaded to the site as the translation finishes. You'll be able to find them in the 'News Archives' section of this site. 05.10.01 - First Video Added - Make sure to check the Multimedia section for the first of many Deep Forest videos to be posted here. We are starting off appropriately with the self-titled video Deep Forest. There are two versions available, Divx ; ) and Real Video. 04.30.01 - Press Center Added - The press center has been added and can be found on the information center page. The press center contains Deep Forest articles from newspapers and magazines from 1993 to the present. We'll be adding more articles shortly. 04.24.01 - Information Center Added - If you haven't noticed already, there have been a bunch of minor changes here and there on this site. The discography section has been updated with more scans and samples. A few links have been added to the links section. The information center page is up, but at the moment all that is available is the lyrics section. We are still working on digitizing the music videos but we have added screenshots from two more music videos which you can find in the multimedia section. 03.29.01 - News Articles Available in Spanish - We have translated all of the news articles into Spanish, which can be read by clicking on the 'Español' link next to the article summary. Other language translations are forthcoming. 03.28.01 - Fallen Leaves Discography Updated - A lot of samples have been added, there are only about 5 songs that don't have samples YET.
