Deep Forest IV - 'Music Detected' Deep in the Jungle Staff
In 1998, 'Comparsa' was released. Ever since then,
fans have been eagerly awaiting the group's next album. Four years later,
the focus shifts from Madagascar and the Caribbean to Asia. 'Music Detected' is the name
of Deep Forest's fourth full-length album, according to Hajime Chitose's
official website. Twenty-two year old Hajime is a Japanese folk-singer
and appears on the track entitled "You'll be Ready", on Deep
Forest's upcoming album
Other artists making appearances on the new album include Japanese violinist Taro Hakase, as well as rumors of an appearance by Indian singer Mahalakshmi, and possibly even American pop-singer Anastacia.
Word is that 'Music Detected' will be released early May 2002, featuring an Asian sound, consisting of Indian, Chinese, Japanese, and Turkish influences.
