is originally from paris where she lived until the age of 20, we met
22 years ago. Im originally from the north of France, in a little
village near Lille, which is called Somain. Actually we live in an
even smaller town called Marchiennes, which is right outside Somain.
What are your musical backgrounds?
GINO: I
always liked the beatles. I listen to all the big 70s groups. And
Marie was into all the big international jazz acts. We shared our

GINO: Michel
Sanchez and I have known each other for 25 years and we used to play
in small local groups together. Usually with friends in common, like
Michel who is a master synthesizer and accordian player. Maybe he
played before he could speak.
What Deep Forest projects and related projects (side projects
of Eric and Michel) have you and Marie been involved in?
GINO: We’re
been involved in many projects, but out of respect and in deference
to the demands of Eric and Michel, I can’t tell.
What have each of you enjoyed most about your experience in working
with Michel Sanchez and Eric Mouquet?
GINO: I hope
that you know the happieness that comes with working with exceptional
people.
